SpaceX Careers – Rockets, Starlink & AI (Mostly US Citizens/Green Card Holders Only)
SpaceX lists thousands of openings, from engineers to welders, machinists, electricians, technicians, chefs and drivers. However, almost all US roles fall under US export rules (ITAR): applicants must be US citizens, green card holders, refugees or asylees, or obtain special US government authorisation. A small number of roles are based outside the US – e.g. Starlink sales and engineering in Dublin, Tokyo, Singapore, São Paulo, Toronto, Bangalore and Hanoi, and a Market Access & Development Manager in Nairobi, Kenya – and these follow local hiring rules.
Who can apply
Only for: US-based roles: US citizens, green card holders, refugees or asylees only (ITAR). Most US-based roles are only open to US citizens, US permanent residents (green card), refugees or asylees because of ITAR export rules. Non-US applicants should look at roles based outside the US (Dublin, Tokyo, Singapore, Nairobi, etc.) and check each posting.
