About PathAbroad
PathAbroad helps people anywhere find scholarships, internships, jobs and legal work routes abroad from official sources, and prepare their applications with the free Application Assistant: an eligibility check, a tailored CV and a cover letter, with a human review on WhatsApp if you want one.
We are not a recruiter, an agency or a sponsor. We do not offer these opportunities, we do not represent the organisations that do, and we have no part in their decisions. We find listings on official sources, check daily that the links still work, remove expired ones, and send you straight to the provider so you apply to them directly. Everything here is free, there is no account to create, and nobody at PathAbroad will ever ask you for money.
Who runs it
PathAbroad is built and run by Wilberforce K. Osei, a Ghanaian-born founder who has lived and worked abroad for more than ten years. It is an independent project. It is not a recruitment agency, and it is not affiliated with any university, employer, government or scholarship provider listed on the site.
How listings get here
- Found on official sourcesEvery day, an automatic search looks for new opportunities on official websites: universities, governments, UN agencies, foundations, sports bodies and employers' own careers pages. It never accepts blogs, job boards, recruitment agencies or social media.
- Checked automaticallyEach one is checked: the link must load, the page must mention the opportunity, the deadline must still be in the future, and the page must not ask applicants for money or promise a visa or job. Listings that pass every check go live.
- Checked again, then by a person when neededAnything that doesn't pass is checked again in more depth by an AI reviewer, which reads the official page and confirms the website really belongs to the organisation. Listings it can't confirm, and the first listing from any new sports, faith or skilled-trades website, wait for a person to review them before they can appear.
- Links checked daily, removed after the deadlineEvery link is re-checked daily. Listings whose page disappears, or whose deadline passes, leave the feed automatically.
Never pay for a guaranteed outcome
PathAbroad does not guarantee, sell, or otherwise offer guaranteed access to scholarships, employment opportunities, internships, visas, or other international opportunities. We will never ask you to pay a fee in exchange for a guaranteed scholarship award, job offer, visa approval, or any other favourable outcome.
Be careful with any individual or organisation that claims they can secure such an outcome in exchange for money. No legitimate service can guarantee the decision of an independent scholarship provider, employer, educational institution, embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. Those decisions belong to them alone.
PathAbroad does not endorse or authorise any person to collect money on our behalf in exchange for securing a scholarship, employment position, visa, or other opportunity. If someone claims to represent PathAbroad and requests payment, treat the request as potentially fraudulent and tell us.
Where an application genuinely involves a fee, such as a visa application fee or an examination fee, confirm the amount and the payment method on the official website of the institution itself before you pay anything.
How to know it's really us
PathAbroad's only channels are +81 70 7615 3093 (WhatsApp, calls and texts) and hello@pathabroad.africa. Our weekly email comes from updates@pathabroad.africa. Any other number or address claiming to be PathAbroad is not us.
We never ask for money on any channel. So if a message from “PathAbroad” asks you to pay for anything, it is fake, whatever number or address it comes from. Please tell us if it happens, and include a screenshot if you can.
